Rustic Oak - Oversized Pen Blank
Rustic Oak, also called ‘Brown Oak’ this is the same timber species as English Oak (Quercus robur), but rather than the biscuit colour of most freshly cut oak, the timber has a grown with a rich brown colour.
The grain is straight and closely spaced and rays are often present in the wood. Oak is particularly attractive lightly polished with a wax finish.

The price qouted is for a single pen blank.
Each blank is approximately 25 x 25 x 150mm (1 x 1 x 6"), ideally suited for the larger bodied pen kits and similar projects.
The ends of the blanks are dipped in grain seal to reduce the chance of damage while in storage.
