SHIPPING POLICY

These are our standard shipping methods, Shipping options and our returns policy. If you have any questions about this or anything else on this site please use the Contact button at the top of the page.

 

Shipping costs are calculated by the cost of the products in your order. On checkout, you will be provided with two options - Economy (typically 3 to 5 business Days) or Standard (typically 1 to 3 business days)

Shipping Costs

The table below should provide a guide to how much a particular item (or items) will cost to ship based on the factors described above. It is not possible to be 100% accurate as the weight of the wood varies by variety and even by batch.

Up to £20 - £4.00 Standard Shipping or £3.20 Economy

£20 to £50 - £4.75 Standard Shipping or £3.90 Economy

We now offer free postage on orders over £50

Shipping Options

Wherever possible we offer two options for shipping – a budget option, a standard (and recommended) option.

Economy Shipping

For this option we will use Royal Mail's Tracked 48 service. If cost is a priority over speed we also offer a budget option. These budget options are just as reliable as our other shipping methods, they will simply take longer to arrive, but typically less than a week.

Standard Shipping

For this option we will use Royal Mail's Tracked 24 service. The standard shipping is our recommended option for most situations.

Express

We no longer offer an express service as we cannot guarantee when Royal Mail will collect the parcels. If you have a need for guaranteed next-day delivery, please contact me and I will try and arrange a suitable service.

Large Orders

For very large parcels we may use a courier other than Royal Mail, but will use a similar tracked service.

If you have specific delivery requirements, please Contact Us and we’ll do what we can to help.

International Orders

Sorry, but due to restrictions in shipping bare timber products it is not possible to export our wood blanks outside of the UK.

GUARENTEE, RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please return the product and we will fully refund the cost when it is received back at Tessellata.

We accept returns on all products if they are defective, and will accept other returns up to 90 days from the original shipping date. Refunds will be processed within 30 days from receipt of the returned item (but typically much quicker!).

Please contact us using the form here if you are returning the item so we can provide a returns label and to ensure we keep track of any shipments to us.

Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging.
